Developments on Augmented Reality Browser
Augmented Reality Browser part of the project was extremly interesting. It brought many developments and thoughts about how to provide guidance to cemetery visitors. Within ARTOUR application we have developed guides through 5 pilot cemeteries. These cemeteries are now listed as well in the ARTOUR website under Memorial park stories.

Photo exhibition in Aviles
Enjoy the Photo Exhibition in Aviles, Spain. Opened until January 13th 2013.
As you can see in the photos, many visitors are enjoying this specific installation on daily basis. It is estimated that more than 10.000 people already visited the exhibition and got in touch with memories, written in the European cemeteries.
Photo exhibition is travelling through 4 European cities this year as part of the EUCEMET project.

Workshop 3: Promotion of cemeteries and their surrounding territories
As an important part of the Annual General Meeting of ASCE in Maribor, the workshop titled Promotion of cemeteries and their surrounding territories took place. Many interesting presentations were exposed and lively debates took place on how to promote the cemeteries.

Working case of Augmented Reality
Within ASCE steering committee meeting (March 2012) a working case of Augmented Reality was presented.
A simple grave of a famous Maribor Olympic legend Leon Å tukelj was projected on the wall. With the mobile application, it was instantly recognized and provided content from many different sources.
We expect to have the first pilot cemetery finished within April 2012 and complete results of 5 cemeteries presented at the workshop in Maribor in September 2012.
